Twilight Trials Virtual Track & Field Event
Twilight Relays is a yearly track meet thrown by Nike and Jesuit High School that invites the best high school track athletes from around the country to come to Portland and compete. During covid the season was canceled and along with it Twilight Relays. So we had to come up with a new idea to help the athletes compete at a distance. We developed an online time trial competition in partnership with athletic.net, the largest time tracking website in the country. The results were over 100k entries and free prizes. We created the largest time trial event in the country with athletes and their coaches submitting times from across the country.

Problem Statement
With the onset of COVID 19 we wanted to create an online competition for High-school track and field athletes to compete during lockdown. With an emphasis on safety and being able to reward the athletes for their participation.

Keeping kids engaged
We took on the task of creating social media accounts and partnering with Athletic.net the premier time submission website to keep the contest going and keep the kids engaged. We did this through a marketing and recognition campaign blasting the fastest times and records across both platforms
Results
We ended up creating the largest virtual meet in the country with over 2,500 entrants and nearly 75k entries across 42 states.
